A week of thoughts....

Hi there everyone! it's already Sunday and I still couldn't sleep things are running in my mind and I just wanna share some of them to you, this might help me put to sleep.

Before ko share sa lahat yung thoughts ko share ko muna what happen earlier today...

Since Tatay has no work today we all woke up late as in 10 am, I know we shouldn't practice that but I just let my hubby sleep that long because he was working for 12 hours straight nung friday and It was his time to make bawi all the pagod, well for me and aina naman since I woke up in the middle of the night twice (1. to prepare milk 2. to calm her down because of her nightmare) we made our bawi narin hehe. By 1pm I asked Tatay if we could go the market so we can by some meat for my project dinner and also some fruits for him and aina.

For dinner I was  able to make Pork Hamonado kaso hindi sya kasing sarap ng luto ng Sister-in-law ko pero ok lang kasi nasarapan naman ang asawa ko and pati yata in-laws ko nagustuhan.

The whole day I tried to be a good housewife and a mother kasi on Monday back to reality na ulit ako, back to work and back to stress and I don't even know what lies ahead of me pag pasok ko although I have a very reasonable reason but then I don't know what to expect or baka hindi ako magising in the morning because my body get use na sa 8am wake up ko when I was on leave, but I'll make sure to put all the alarm I need to get up early.

Sa totoo lang last week wasn't just my healing days for sore eyes but also it was my thinking days and stress free days, parang I can live and stay at home nalang for good and be with aina, it was also like I don't get to miss my job at all. Kahit naman super stress ako sa workplace namin I still love my job because it's not really the job that's give me stress it's the people kaya medyo napapa isip din ako why is it that it became so easy for me not to miss everything at all, parang ok lang to leave everything behind as long as I can take care of my family and I can be with my daughter as she grow up everyday, siguro ganito na talaga pag mommy ka priorities and choices are too small or little like you only have to choose between a family or career and one mistake will ruin everything you have and when you tried to balance things you should still know what to give up in the end.

 2013 indeed is the learning years for me and my husband, sa dami naming nagawa na mali at sa daming decisions that we tried to stand up for we both know na may natutunan kami and we both promise our selves to apply everything this 2014.

Still on Leave...

hi everyone! yes I'm still on leave till now pero I'm not feeling great parin.

I decided to take on leave last Monday due to sore eyes, I don't know where I got it basta pag dating ko ng house parang super itchy ng eyes ko, then while playing I saw my daughters eyes may malaking muta (rheum) kahit hindi naman sya bagong gising. Sunday Morning
I got up and I wasn't able to open my eyes sa super stick na muta and when I finally got it remove my eyes are all red at alam na kung ano yun, the sad part here is my daughter also had it although it wasn't that worst than mine

I asked my husband to buy me Tobradex eye drops  I usually use that eye drop in cases like sore eyes but I didn't and I can't use it on my daughter, she's still young so I don't wanna risk specially her eyes. I sms my  Boss Monday morning to inform him what happen and that I'll just take a rest for a while first so I won't be able to infect anyone in our office.

I didn't expect or plan to have a week of rest but it happen, I was planning on reporting Wednesday but I had this headache and I couldn't get up so I sms them again to inform that I still couldn't make it. Thursday came I said " I'm OK" and getting ready for work when my husband notice my red eye so I again I didn't went and Now its Friday the last day for work and I'm still at home and still having a headache, I don't know whats going on with my body so I'm gonna make sure I'll see a Doctor tomorrow and have everything check.

Even if I wasn't able to be at the office for a week I'm still grateful because I'm able to take care of my daughter by my self, we maybe both suffering but I still make sure that shes gonna be ok and that I think helps alot because she was able to recover fast and now doing a lot of better.

And this One Week stay taught me lots of things about motherhood, my life and family....

What is DEET?

I've been reading a lot of insect repellant brands that says "DEET FREE FORMULA" and I get to wonder what is a Deet? What harm can it cause a human body? so I made a research online to answer  my questions and here's what I got....


What is DEET---based on Wikipedia DEET  is .......

 N,N-Diethyl-meta-toluamide, abbreviated DEET, is a slightly yellow oil. It is the most common active ingredient in insect repellents. It is intended to be applied to the skin or to clothing, and provides protection against mosquito bites, tick bites, flea bites, chiggers, and many other biting insects.

Base on wikipedia deet is an active ingredients in insect repellants and provides protection against insect bites, but why is  it that we are seeing "DEET FREE" insect repellants this days?

 As a precaution, manufacturers advise that DEET products should not be used under clothing or on damaged skin, and that preparations be washed off after they are no longer needed or between applications.^[16] DEET can act as an irritant;^[4] in rare cases, it may cause severe epidermal reactions.^[16]

there are also studies that says Deet can cause nausea, headache, dizziness and loss of concentration when too much expose and we do not want our kids or any of our loved ones suffer those right, so just imagine if you're using a brand that has a Deet for a very long time you  might wanna also consider trying something else like those brands that has no Deet on it just to make sure that we're not the one bringing them harm.

Even before I get to know what is  a Deet I usually buy Deet Free Oil insect repellant for my daughter not because of "Deet" but because I find it more economical and safe for my baby's skin, it didn't get dry and the scent of citronella last for just a minute but the effect last for hours and because it's oil base it doesn't have a sticky feeling when she get sweat.

Manila Ocean Park

Last December we got the chance to visit Manila Ocean park with my brother and his family pero before that we are scheduled for a nice photoshoot at the The Picture Company in Podium (i'll post another one for this)...

It was past 4pm na when we reached Ocean Park kasi yung nasakyan namin na taxi dinaan kami sa super traffic na daan buti nalang kahit papanu enjoy mga bata and my brother hindi na high blood, except me kasi hindi ako maka withdraw that day dahil naka off line ang bank ko ewan ko kung bakit buti nalang my cash pa ang asawa ko and hindi pa mahilig mag pabili ang anak ko.

Our first stop was meeting the giant stingrays, we get to see them face to face sayang lang bawal ang camera I wanted to show you pa naman yung looks ng anak ko habang kaharap ang stingray, she look like someone who saw something na hindi maintindihan yung nakikita at super kunot noo habang nag iisip.

Our next stop was with the little fish ready to give us a fish spa...

 After sa nakaka kiliting fish Spa we went straight to our last spot the giant aquarium called Oceanarium, the acquarium where you can see most of the species they got inside, it was dark inside parang nasa loob ka ng isang shipwreck now I know why kids love to visit there, you look at the fish closer and be able to know different species, you even get to watch how they interact with one another. I never get the chance like this when I was a kid and ang lucky ng mga kids today because they don't have to go far na to be able to experience this kind of adventure, ang nakaka lungkot lang this sea creatures are not free kaya sana the kids of this generation would also get the message that every living creatures are trying to post "TAKE CARE OF THE OCEAN " ...ok sorry medyo na carried away ako sa sympathy with the fish so here's another set of pics from our inside visit

December Celebration....

Party Number 3....


My Party Number was the best Christmas party for the Year because Christmas isn't complete without a FAMILY to spend it with....My Tatay and I decided to spend our Christmas eve at my family's house in San mateo dahil dumating ang aking mga mahal na tita and mas masaya mag spent ng christmas eve with lots of kids and a great music from my brother in law's sound system. Before we to went sa San Mateo Tatay, aina and I had to rush sa SM Marikina kasi my mga hindi pa kami na bilhan ng gifts na mga kids, kahit pala super advance ka mag start mag buy my makakalumitan ka parin hehe buti nalang SM can gift wrap gifts without minimum amount needed kaya hindi na ako nahirapan mag wrap pa. 2. Christmas Parties

Christmas isn't really complete without Parties and this year I attended 3 parties so hindi po talaga ako super busy last december, konti lang.

My first Party was our Departments Party, we used to celebrate our party inside our office but now since we transfered to a new building the number 1 rule is no partying inside the office so our Boss decided to rent his friends Bar for us. Every year hindi ma wawala sa party namin ang raffle and amazing prices are there, this year we got 7 LED TV and almost 10 units of Samsung Phones and other cool stuff. Super enjoy din kami sa party kahit super stress drilon and super limited lang ang time dahil my pasok pa kinabukasan. that night I got to take home a Dowel Stand Fan and a Samsung Keystone phone....

December of Celebration

Hi there everyone!!!!!

Sorry if I wasn't able to greet all of you a  Merry Merry Christmas and a Bountiful New Year but everyone is in my prayers and wishes....anyway here's our December celebration that I want to share to everyone...

1. My Birthday

fyi I was born December 11, 1986 around 1pm as per my birth certificate so December 11, 2013 I decided to have a simple yet memorable celebration.
 I planned to have a simple dinner with my family, so I invited my cousin and my aunt whom just arrived from Norway. I only reserved 5-8 slots sa RUB Kapitolyo because I didn't really invite a lot 
but then because my Tita misses my nephews and nieces so much she brought the whole gang as in! super shock ako kasi I know the place isn't really that big and ang reservation ko was less than 10 lng, but still those are my kids and my birthday isn't really gonna be complete without them so I just ask the waiters if they could make an arrangements for us buti nalang SUPER bait nang mga staff ng RUB Kapitolyo and they really gave us all the assistance we need the food was great pa kaya kahit halos hindi ako naka kain super saya parin dahil na busog ang aking whole family.

Thank You Kids! Tita Jing will always be Tita Jing and my 27 years of existence will never be complete without you kids...
