Happy Trick or Treat day...

Hi everyone! Good morning!!!!

Sounds happy noh? hehe yep I am really happy because of yesterday's event.
Yesterday was my daughter's first trick or treat party dito sa office and also our office first trick or treat event ever, during the costume prep I mention na sana isuot ng aking anak ang kanyang costume and yes! nag tupad ang dasal ko because she was able to wear it without a fuss, hindi rin sya ng tantrums the whole day and even able to play with her ninangs.

Super laking improvement para sakin to be able to see my daughter mingle with other people and other kids, nung una she got irritated when I show her her dress but when she saw other kids playing ang wearing different costume ayun! nag pa suot din ng walang hirap and she even poses whenever people too a photo of her. Kahit super bigat and super pagod ako that day tiis lang at kahit parang namamaga ang arms ko ngayon dahil sa kaka buhat sa kanya ok lang rin ang mahalaga naging happy sya and na experience yung mga things na never ko na experience as a child.

Here's the pics...

Costume Prep....

Last Friday we receive a Memo from our HR and Tourism Dept. that we will be having a Trick or Treat Party for all the employee's children on Tuesday super na excite ako kasi that means I can bring Aina with me again sa office and syempre another exposure sa kanya to mingle with other kids. After receiving the Memo I took a photo of it and posted on my facebook account, one of my office mate asked me kung ano daw costume ni Aina then I said Walkers yung sa walking dead pero syempre joke lang yun ayoko naman matakot ang anak ko sa sarili nya and pinagalitan ako ng isang elder namin, ang ganda daw ng anak ko wag ko daw gawin pangit (Wow! haba ng pilik mata ko) hehe.

Before I went home I drop by sa National Bookstore and saw the sets of costumes that their selling, mostly pare-pareho so I decided to ask muna si Tatay if he has any idea, syempre first trick or treat ng anak namin so dapat dalawa kami mag de-decide.

When Tatay got home aba! mas excited pa sya sa akin he was telling aina that we're going to buy her a costume for the party and he keeps on telling me to search all over the internet ng unique costume daw for kids para wala syang kapareho, luckily we got one idea agad (next post na yung pic)  and we agreed to go to Quiapo to look for other costumes or buy some materials for the one that we like.

Tatay's order: Lechon Macau

Mine is Sweet and Sour fish
and here's us sabi kasi ni tatay picture daw muna
We had a great lunch that day and thanks to our flavorful eggtart (no picture sorry) by Lord Bistow for making it complete.

Here's our Pasalubong for aina
Peanut Butter Lengua De Gato
I can't post the costume yet kasi ginagawa pa but hopefully it will turn out great..fingers cross...
And most specially sana maka pag enjoy ang aming anak and make it a memorable trick or treat party...

bye bye.... :-)

Sunday Family day...

Last Sunday we attended our afternoon mass sa Holy Family Parish sa Kapitoly, super thankful kasi hindi umulan super good mood ng aking mag ama. During the mass super pa karga ang aking anak as in she only sit ng mga 2mins. tapos nag yaya sa labas at nag pakarga na, ayaw pa nya sa tatay nya at ako talaga ang request (super bigat kaya! huhu), after the mass we decided to have our dinner sa jollibee since super pagod na ako the whole day and no energy to cook.

Before Jolibee ng visit muna ako sa aking favorite na Sharetea, I'm really loving it na kahit anong flavor sarap parin....
Bacon and Mushroom Burger from Jollibee

After Dinner we bought some food sa Pioneer Center for  Aina's one week supply...

She's so cute with the mini cart, feel na feel nya ang mag lagay ng kung ano ano sa cart hehe kahit hindi nya alam kung ano nilalagay nya.

Dora O Dora

When Aina was with me sa office super laking tulong ng aking B-I-L since he work on the Second floor naman and with lesser load he took aina and let her stay with him at since IT  department ang hawak nya maraming computer sa office nila at ito ang ginawa ng anak ko....take a look

She loves watching videos talaga and yun lang pwede maka pag tame sa kanya even for hours....

kwento No. 2

here's my kwento No. 2...

Last friday nag kasakit ang aking MIL at dahil walang mag aalaga sa aking anak I decided to take her with me sa office. She was very bait a night before, hindi sya namuyat and she even woke up early para maka pag prepare. She we reached our office it's too early pa kaya hindi pa sya na hirapan mag adjust sa surroundings nya and even to people around her kaya lang hindi ko yata talaga ma aalis sa anak na mag taray whenever someone's around her and tried to kiss her, maybe she feels like they're going to kidnap her anytime, super scared sya sa tao I heard nga one of my office mate saying na "suplada"daw ang anak ko at hindi mahawakan, ang say ko naman "suplada"agad? hindi ba pwedeng hindi ka lang kilala at ma -ingat lang sa buhay nya kaya ayaw lumapit sayo? hmf!

The whole day went well super likot na ng baby ko, dati I can still work habang nasa stroller sya ngayon you have to watch her every move and whenever she feels mag lambing you have to give her your attention kasi pag hindi she'll make a mess like pulling off the mouse or dropping the telephone. She even walk around without her shoes sa buong lobby as in yapak kung yapak ang peg ng anak ko.

Mahirap maging working mom since ang number 1 objective ng isang nanay is to give the best to our kids pero paano natin magagawa if half of the time or our time we have to spend working or being away with them, at pag naman kasama natin sila we have to make sure that her environment won't give them harm.

I think one of the hassle ko that day was when aina wasn't able to sleep sa ingay and wala sya matulugan kasi hindi kid friendly ang office namin, kaya she waited till 5pm to sleep sa taxi and when we got home you can't really disturbed her no matter what you do sa sobrang sarap ng tulog nya dahil sa pagod.

Happy with her cookies

No bed? We have tables keri na rin hehe

With her Tito Jef making bantay

Dami ko kwento....

Hi everyone!
Super tagal ko na walang kwento, super busy din kasi ako lately since ber months na also hindi rin maganda ang health condition ko hehe due to weather rin kasi, well marami kami naging activity last last week that I wanna share to everyone and here they goes....

1.) Aina got her first proper hair cut...

Since October 15 was a holiday, Tatay and I decided to have a salon visit, we had it in Ricky Reyes Salon in Kapitolyo wala narin kasi sya time to have a hair cut dahil super late narin sya nakaka uwi lately. While waiting for my turn aina was making kulit, she run, sit and climbed everywhere buti nalang konti lang ang tao that time. She love looking at her self sa mirror as if she's playing with somebody on the other side of room, ang cute nya tingnan and super ingat sya sa pag takbo parang calculated nya ang galaw nya kaya hindi sya nadadapa or na uuntog. My turn came and she stayed with her tatay watching on her ipad...

See the pic? she's the little girl on the right...

after my turn I ask if they can also cut aina's hair, and they said they could try, and look at her

See super behave nya, I'm so proud kasi hindi sya malikot although hindi sya ng pa lagay ng cover because maybe she felt suffocated and kahit feel nya and hands ni ate she didn't move until I ask her to. Hindi namin na expect that she'll be a good girl that time super takot kami ni tatay kaya super hold din ako sa hand nya kasi baka bigla magwala.

After Aina it was tatay's turn.....

tatay was laughing at me kasi super enjoy ko daw ang new phone ko at halos lahat ng gawin nila ni aina naka abang ako mag picture well ganun talaga siguro kung almost 5 years kang naka cellphone ng walang camera hehehe.

After we had our hair cut we walk around Kapitolyo and we landed our feet here sa Share Tea....
the little girl making her rounds....

Tatay had the Hokkaido with Pearl and I had the Mocha
I thought Sharetea will be just another Milk Tea but I was wrong and I'm loving it more now hehe mas masarap sya for me and the place? super nice although small lang ang space nila they manage cleanliness nakaka refresh ang feeling when you're inside....

After Sharetea we had our picture taken in front of  Ace Plaza ang sosyal kasi hehe

Tatay and Aina wearing their new hair style

And that's me and Aina with my new hair style

Oh sya yan na muna later I'll post more....bye bye

Lola....

this was my lola during her healthier years...
A woman with strong faith and always
believe that a light will always shine....

It's been two years...

October 22, 2011 around 11:00 am Saturday, it was a busy day for me for it was the only day I could prepare things for my upcoming wedding. Went home I was so excited to show my future husband the  cute souvenir I chose for our wedding, as I reached the door I saw him looking at me with a teary eye and gave me a look that I never wanted to see, then he showed me my phone with a txt message that say's "wala na si lola". I froze, i was shocked my mind scream my heart wanted to smile yet the pain is knocking me off. I hear my MIL telling me not to cry so hard that I should think of the baby inside me, but the tears are falling and the pain are digging deeper in my heart.

It's been two years yet the memory of that day remains in my heart, for in that day I lost the woman who become my source of life, strength, courage, happiness and knowledge. My grandma whom I can call my mother is gone, she left me a few days before my wedding and without saying goodbye to me. My tears are still pouring like it was yesterday, I miss my grandma so much.

My grandma taught me all the things I need to learn in this world, all the things that life might show and most importantly all the things that I need to learn to be a mother that I am. She was my number one critic and also my number fan, she can tell me all the truth that I need to hear good or bad, she never got tired of helping me improve. All the kitchen techniques I got it from her, yes I did study but for me she's still the best teacher.

Indeed the best teacher the we could have in this world our parents and our parents Parents the ones we called LOLO and LOLA....

Aina may not have a chance to be with you but I know you love her too the way you love me and you will guide her whevere you are....

Walking Dead is Coming...

Wohooo!!!

Excuse me for being too excited, hindi ko lang po mapigilan ang super excitement dahil ang pinaka favorite series ko na THE WALKING DEAD is back! YES after a long months of waiting mapapanood ko na sya kaya hindi na ako mapakali ngayon at parang gusto ko na mag uwian para makita si tatay, pero hindi lang si tatay gusto kung makita but the copy of the first episode hehe

Walking Dead is our favorite bonding time, si tatay ang taga download at ako ang taga buy ng snacks, even when I was pregnant I still watch the series kaya whenever my in-laws hear aina scream they always call her "aina the walker" kasi ka boses daw nya hehe,

I know the story is weird for some but for me it's very thrilling, you can't predict what will happen next and even the "walkers"(zombies) are not that gross specially pag hindi ka sensitive to see internal organs or blood, and one thing I love is the way every actor bring their character, napaka natural lang and nakaka dala.

Hay can't stop my excitement hehe

Oh sya work work muna ako...

my new eyeglass

Yehey!!!

Finally i was able to get a new eyeglass after a year.
Tnx to a very good friend of mine for introducing me to Trends Optical in here in San Juan.

Hehe I'm loving it now and I can say that I can see clearly now the blurriness has gone...

Oh Durian!

For people who knows me Fruits are my favourite food in the world, yet not all. There are certain foods that really makes me wanna eat it all day and some makes me wish I shouldn’t have tried it and I would say Durian is one of those fruit that I couldn’t really fall in love with.

Last month I felt like craving for  a certain food that I couldn’t know what kind, and feels like I’m looking for a smell that would gave me some comfort, I been going in and out of supermarket, fruit stands and still unable to find what I’m looking for, well  not until last night….

I was about to buy some diaper when I suddenly something caught my other senses that made me say “Wow” (hehe  though it wasn’t really that “wow” for others)  I found my comfort food, I knew It came from the fruit station so I went there to trace the smell and voila! I was surprise that the once “foul odor” for me now became the “wow” that I would love to have my tummy. Before I put it in my basket I really did assured myself that I’m going to eat it alone for I know people in our house don’t like fruit as much as I do, and Yes I promised myself that I’m going to eat it and I’m loving the scent more than others could.

On my way home people inside the FX are trying to cover their noses hehe but I don’t care as long as I’m loving it and it wasn’t that bad because I tried to cover it with 2 paper bags.

I was just wondering Durian is also a fruit but why does it smell so bad that most people doesn’t want to try it at all, and since Durian is also a fruit this probably has a lot of benefits that’s good for us.

So in this blog I’m going to make it more appealing than just smelling…
I browse the net and here’s what I found…
1.) Preventing and treating constipation (Fiber 37%)
2.) Helps prevent anemia (Folate 22%)
3.) Improve skin health (Vitamin C 80%)
4.) Helps maintain healthy bones (Potassium 30%)
5.) Regulate blood sugar levels (Mangan 39%)
6.) Encourage appetite (Thiamin 61%)
7.) Helps prevent depression (Vitamin B6 38%)

All food benefits are only effective once eaten moderately, so wag lang po hada ng hada sa pag kain kasi baka iba mangyari :-)

I hope all the information given would give a different perception towards Durian.

Yan lang po ang aking 8 tips of staying healthy and happy...

In Sickness and in Health

Hi everyone! Wonder why I haven’t got a word for so long? Well it was because nag kasakit kami mag anak last week as in Nanay, tatay at aina ang may sakit.

Sa two days stay ko at home na observe ko lahat ng galaw ng anak ko pag wala kami and in fairness ang bait nya pag si Mama Duce (Dulce) lang ang kasama nya, she plays on her own and when she got tired take a nap on her favourite pwesto, pero pag kami ang kasama nya walang katapusan ang pag lalambing gusto puro laro at gusto lagi naka karga.

O bye bye muna!
